ChitoPran® allows affected areas to quickly recover from the wounds of various etiologies: burns, pressure sores and ulcers. ChitoPran® bio-absorbes, easily elutes while wound bathing or dissevers with a scab. There is no need to remove the material. This relieves the patient from pain and additional injury to the wound surface.

• chitosan promotes activation of macrophages in the lesion and accelerates the proliferation of fibroblasts and epidermal keratinocytes

• the nanofibrous structure mimics the extracellular matrix and promotes the migration and growth of own cells

RVC Seed Fund and the Scientific Park of MSU
In August, 2014 the company received a registration certificate for the first generation of ChitoPran®
Since November, 2014 "NAPOLY" is involved in the distribution of plasters and dressings produced by "New Bandaging Materias" LLC. The key products of "New Bandaging Materias" LLC were developed together with «NAPOLY» founders
In October 2014, the founders outlicensed the patent for the first generation of ChitoPran® to the compаny
In October 2014, "NAPOLY" was named «The best project in biotechnology» in the "Innopraktika" exhibition
In September, 2015 we completed R&D for the second generation of ChitoPran® and started the registration procedure
In March,2016 "NAPOLY" was named «The startup of 2015» in the «Biotech» sphere in Russia

Manufacturing

"NAPOLY" established full cycle production of ChitoPran® in Russia. Using our patented technologies we produce nano- and micro-fibers and the materials based on them with a very high production capacity. We developed and patented the compositions of the spinning solutions and the technoogy conditions that ascertain the unique properties of the material:

  • morphology of the fibrous layer that mimics the extracellular matrix and enables the rapid movement and growth of its own epithelium;
  • high vapor and air permeability;
  • high bioavailability of bioadditives, which allows to reduce their dosage, and hence toxicity.

The performance is based on:
the biological activity of chitosan which is able to activate macrophages, enhance the proliferation of fibroblasts, accelerate growth of epidermal keratinocytes, bind and inactivate matrix metalloproteinases – inflammation enzymes;
the special structure of the nanofibers that mimic the structure of the extracellular matrix and contribute to the growth of the cells.
